Consumers of Mental Health WA (CoMHWA) is the peak body for consumers of mental health services in WA. As a community based not for profit organisation, CoMHWA understands, listens and acts upon the voice of consumers of mental health and the wider community.

About the role

CoMHWA’s Administration Officer provides front-line service to the organisation, and assists with maintaining financial and project records, general events and member engagement activities.

This is a contract position for 60-75 hours per fortnight to 30th June 2025. Immediate start.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Personal lived experience of mental health recovery.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills with a strong team and member focus.
  • Demonstrated planning and organisational skills, especially in relation to administrative matters.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing priorities, exercising initiative and discretion, and managing competing deadlines.
  • High level general computer skills and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and as part of a team to accomplish shared goals.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in working in a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Experience using MYOB accounting package.
