Communify’s HART 4000 (Homelessness Assessment and Referral Team, 4000 – Brisbane postcode) is a service funded by the Department of Housing & Public Works as part of the Queensland Government’s Responding to Homelessness Initiative. Located in the Fortitude Valley, we are an assessment, support and referral team that works closely with anyone who may be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Working in the Housing First model, the Mission of HART 4000 is Achieving Positive and Sustainable Outcomes for Homeless People

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Administration and Finance Worker you will be the glue that holds the service together. This role will be assisting with the high volume of administrative and finance plus reporting requirements associated with this funding.

We are offering a part time permanent contract providing you with the opportunity for flexibility and working from home.

ABOUT YOU

You must have strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a busy, multi-functioning professional team in a role that supports the Team Leaders. You must be passionate about supporting a busy team, confident and experienced in using technology, and have exceptional knowledge of business processes.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of data integrity and information privacy
• Experience processing invoices and collaborating with various departments of the business
• Demonstrated experience using technology such as mobile phones, laptops and internet
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Non-judgmental compassionate approach to building rapport with the community
