About the Childcare Centre

Communify's community-based childcare service specialises in multi-aged education and care for children aged 15 months to 5 years. We are one of the most sought after centres in the inner west suburbs due to the uniqueness of the program that we offer. we cater for 21 children per day and operate between the ours of 7:30am and 5:30 pm for 48 weeks per year.

As Director

• You are responsible for the daily operation and management of the centre
• Work part time, ideally Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day
• Supervise the childcare team, providing leadership, guidance and support
• Develop relationships which support educators, families and children

We are looking for someone experienced, and who demonstrates a commitment to working in a social justice framework utilising personal and professional values that align with our organisation. You must possess a strong commitment to the development of the centre's high standards.

Our key selection criteria:

• Early Childhood qualifications as approved by education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
• First aid certification, asthma and anaphylaxis management training
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Possession of a Supervisor certificate issued under Section 111, Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
• Demonstrated extensive experience leading an early childhood service
