The Operations Manager is a newly established role in response to Venture Housing’s realigned structure and business requirements. The role reports to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is an integral member of the senior management team.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for building and developing internal and external relationships to drive operational excellence to deliver social and economic outcomes through the provision of safe, secure and affordable housing.

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of Venture Housing’s operational and asset functions, customer service and operational stakeholder engagement. Along with building an adaptable and responsive team to ensure the provision of quality tenant and asset management services.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated senior level operational and leadership experience within social and affordable housing or the broader community services sector.

In addition, you will have proficient communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated track record of delivering operational excellence and results, and capacity to lead and build a high performing team. You will also hold a tertiary qualification in either human services, social sciences, business, and/or extensive relevant demonstrated experience.
