We are currently seeking a motivated and competent Social Media and Content Coordinator (SMCC).

About this opportunity

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager (MCM), the Social Media and Content Coordinator (SMCC) will be responsible for enhancing brand awareness, fostering engagement and driving conversions through strategic social media management and compelling content creation.

About you

You will bring the following attributes and skills to this role:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related area.
  • At least one year of experience as a marketing, social media, or content coordinator.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Meta Business Manager.
  • Experience in social media management.
  • Experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills.
  • Content creation, including photo/video editing and basic graphic design experience, with proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe CC.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • A high level of communication skills with the capacity to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • The ability to work autonomously.
  • Current NSW Driver’s license

And:

  • Be a creative individual with experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Can work independently, prioritise and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Can work in collaboration with internal stakeholders and clients to create content.
  • Can travel between our locations in Fairfield LGA and South West Sydney, and attend events to capture content.
  • Can generate creative ideas and produce high-quality content.
  • Can help maintain a cohesive content strategy and planner.
  • Be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Work Health and Safety and CFS’ Cultural Diversity Principles.
