About the Role

The role of Area Maintenance Supervisor is to support and oversee the achievement of routine and planned maintenance works, including scoping, quality control, supervising staff, whilst maintaining a safe work environment through a high quality of health and safety practices.

Supporting a team of trade staff based across our Brisbane portfolio, you will focus on coaching and developing your team, in addition to coordinating their daily schedules.

This hands-on role will see the successful candidate be proactive as a leader, trade qualified with exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead and manage a small team.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, please ensure you have addressed the following essential selection criteria:

  • Trade qualified with QBCC Licence in Builder - Low Rise or Builder restricted to kitchen, bathroom & laundry.
  • Demonstrated experience in residential property maintenance services.
  • Facilities, asset, project management experience.
  • Ability to implement and maintain schedules in conjunction with our contractual requirements.
  • Develop, motivate and lead your team across numerous and various sites.
  • Set timelines, deadlines and routines in conjunction with our contractual requirements.
  • Conduct analysis of your teams' output and standards to continually improve the needs and requirements of your area.
  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have the capability to communicate in both a technical and non-technical manner.
  • Mentor and coach staff with different skill and ability levels including apprentices and trainees.
  • Strong knowledge and application of Microsoft Office suite.
