  • Base Salary: $121,719 - $128,641 (p.a.)
  • Total Effective Package: $149,579 - $157,437 (p.a.)*
  • Full Time, 12 month Maximum term contract
  • Commencement January 2025

About the role

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our Allied Health team.

Join us at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, where your expertise as an Optometrist can make a profound impact on the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal communities.

Building upon recommendations stemming from a comprehensive situational analysis conducted by a respected consultant optometrist in 2023, you'll be presented with a unique opportunity to deliver essential eye care services to those most in need. Your role will ensure that every member of our community has access to top-tier vision care, promoting overall health and quality of life.

Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, united in our mission to enhance health outcomes and effect positive change in the lives of Aboriginal community members across Central Australia.

Position includes occasional travel for outreach to remote communities.
