We have management training opportunities available for the right candidate. We are looking for energetic, fun and engaging support workers to join our team to support a wide range of clients in the Wollongong and Shellharbour regions.

20 to 38 hours available depending on availability. We have shifts available in both community and residential settings.

We currently have multiple vacancies for disability support workers.

Our residential shifts cover 24 hours a day, and range from 4-8 hours in length. The overnight portion of the shift (10pm - 6am) will either be active or sleep over.

The role

Providing exceptional support to participants in their homes and community.

Activities include:

• Personal care, domestic tasks, transport, social assistance, organising appointments and ensuring attendance.

Qualifications & experience

• Professional or lived experience supporting someone with a disability.
• An understanding of the disability sector and person-centred support.
• Excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach.
• Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to the organisation.
• Comfortable with personal care.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assistance with community access and recreational activities.
• Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance).
• Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists.
• Transportation and social engagement.
• Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning.
• Behavioural and Mental Health Support.
• Following Behaviour Management Plans.
• Completing documentation and case notes.
