About the role

The Program & Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in facilitating and managing initiatives in our Acceleration Programs, as well as key events building Remarkable's brand and community. The role will ensure a seamless execution of programs, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and providing essential support to drive the success and growth of emerging startups.

This role is based in the Sydney CBD office with hybrid work options, and can be full time, or 4 days part time.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

  • Assisting in the development of Remarkable programs within agreed budgets and resource constraints
  • Assessing & resolving event issues
  • Booking speakers, organising mentoring sessions, and liaising with suppliers such as caterers, photographers, interpreters and venues
  • Managing external partners and sponsors to grow engagement and support for current and future events
  • Sourcing, securing and managing third party suppliers
  • Working closely with the Head of Acceleration Programs and internal teams to plan and execute programs, workshops, events, and coaching sessions and ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of program activities

About you:

  • Prior work experience in events or program coordination
  • A go-getter who is action oriented and adaptable to change
  • Effective organisational, administration and time management skills
  • Use initiative and manage daily workloads to ensure smooth operations within the Remarkable team
  • Prior experience in a startup or the disability industry preferred
