• Location: Melbourne & Sydney-based (travel across Australia and New Zealand available)
• Engagement: Casual, ~1-3 days per fortnight during the school term
• Training provided by CIC
• Pay Rate: $33 per hour, plus superannuation and travel allowances.

About the Role

CIC workshops are fast-paced, future-focused, and designed to equip young people with the skills, capabilities, and mindsets to navigate and shape the emerging next. We deliver programs in Social Innovation, Leadership, Values, and Future Readiness.

As a Casual Facilitator, your role is to hold the space, energise the room, and take young people on a journey—leading workshops that encourage them to Think Beyond, Connect Across, and Do New.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver engaging, high-energy workshops to secondary school students across Australia and New Zealand.
• Support young people to develop personal agency and hopeful visions of the future.
• Extend your own skill set and grow as a facilitator, embedding new behaviours and refining your craft.
• Build meaningful connections between schools, businesses, and community partners.
• Be an outstanding CIC brand ambassador, representing our mission and values in everything you do.

Additional Requirements

• Availability and Hours: Approximately 2-3 days per fortnight throughout the school term. This is a casual role, with working days primarily during school terms. Workshops are typically full-day sessions, aligning with school hours (e.g., 8 am - 4 pm).
• Access to a Car: Access to reliable transportation is essential, as this role involves travel to various schools, including locations where public transport may be limited.
• Background Check: Successful applicants will require a valid Working with Children Check.
• Work Authorisation: A valid working visa to work in Australia for the next two years (if applicable).
