Step into a role where your impact is profound! As a Program Practitioner, you'll be at the forefront of delivering transformative group-based therapy for inmates. You'll co-facilitate intensive programs that tackle the root causes of substance abuse, sexual offences, and violent crimes, guiding participants towards meaningful change. This is your chance to make a real difference in rehabilitation and recovery.
For those who are entertaining the idea of a relocation. Junee is located in a beautiful pocket of NSW’s Riverina region, just a short drive from Wagga Wagga, Junee is full of surprises. The town revolves around its delectable Liquorice and Chocolate Factory. But as a stop on the major Melbourne-Sydney railway line, this pretty country town is also home to a fascinating railway museum. And then there’s the haunted house and heritage streetscapes.
You will guide participants through evidence-based interventions aimed at increasing their self-awareness, promoting personal accountability, and teaching practical skills for leading a crime-free life. By motivating inmates to change and providing them with the tools needed for rehabilitation, you’ll play a critical role in enhancing community safety and reducing re-offending rates.
