Dambimangari are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage the internal financial operations of the Corporation.
Competitive salary ($110,000 - $130,000) with salary sacrificing up to $15,899 per annum.

The Finance Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting and finance operations of Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation (DAC). Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the Corporation's financial health and stability through financial planning, financial reporting, effective budgeting and compliance. The Finance Manager will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of financial data, support Corporation objectives, and provide financial guidance through the Corporate Services Manager and CEO to the Dambimangari Board.
The Finance Manager will partake in daily financial processing, including accounts payable and receivable, as well as ad-hoc members services and Corporation payments. The Finance Manager will manage the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring all records are reconciled and reviewed with absolute accuracy. The role will also prepare end of month profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash-flow reports, and provide monthly balance sheet reconciliations and transaction analyses.

Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation (DAC) provides a unique opportunity to work closely with Aboriginal people in one of the most remote, spectacular regions of the Kimberley. DAC is a small Aboriginal Corporation dedicated to the benefit of our members, Dambimangari Traditional Owners. DAC is the governing body for all Dambimangari business on behalf of our members, and in line with traditional Law and Culture. We employ more than 30 staff, the vast majority of whom are Traditional Owners. The Corporation’s key functions include:
You will be an experienced Finance Manager with strong financial management competency and problem-solving skills. Ideally, you will have a background as an Accountant (CPA; CA) and you will be confident to take responsibility of the Accounting & Finance function at the Corporation. You will be comfortable working in a cross-cultural setting, and you will be keen to further develop your knowledge of Indigenous culture and excited to live in and explore the remote Kimberley region.
