Djerriwarrh Community College is a registered independent specialist senior secondary school based in Melton. The College delivers the Victorian Pathway Certificate (VPC) and VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) certificate for students aged 15-19 years. It provides a safe and inclusive learning environment for young people who may have been disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from education.
The Principal is a pivotable position responsible for school operations, school finances, compliance, risk mitigation, learning programs, welfare of students, staffing, administration and management under that delegation. Their primary duty is to lead a team that achieves positive learning, personal and vocational outcomes for students.
The Principal acts as an executive officer to the Djerriwarrh Community College (DCC) School Council, Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services (DCES) Board and lead the implementation of policies and procedures necessary to comply with the regulatory authorities.
This is full time, fixed term family leave cover position commencing October 2024.
