Darwin Community Legal Services is a Not for Profit community organisation in the Northern Territory. With a turnover of approximately $2m, staff of 24 and up to 40 local volunteers, DCLS provides legal services to disadvantaged people, delivers community legal education, undertakes law reform projects and provides advocacy services. The focus is on "justice" rather than "the law" and the Service relies on the support of the community and the participation of skilled volunteers.
Applicants should have a relevant tertiary qualification such as in business, management or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role or managing a multi-disciplinary community service organisation in the not for profit sector. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated. The initial Contract term will be 3 years.
