Parents’ Voice is a national online movement that offers parents a voice in the debate around food and physical activity options for children. Parents’ Voice program is made possible through collaboration between Diabetes Victoria and VicHealth.
The fixed-term, part-time (0.6 or 0.7 FTE) parental leave cover position of Partnerships and Campaigns Manager – Parents’ Voice has a strong partnerships and media advocacy focus. The position holder must have an understanding of current children’s food, physical landscape and activity issues and the ability to engage stakeholders (including media) in the debate.
Melbourne applicants preferred, but all Australian locations considered.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role that has a focus on media and communications, philanthropy and partnerships, advocacy, public policy, campaign management, and health promotion. Please note, a police check, Working with Children check and evidence of qualifications, where applicable, will be required as part of the recruitment process.
