As a Team Leader in Child Protection, your role involves managing a district team and addressing concerns related to child safety and welfare according to the Children and Community Services Act 2004. You'll oversee case work, supervise team members, chair planning forums, manage resources, ensure electronic reporting standards, contribute to district activities, and maintain practice standards while supporting team members' learning and development.
 
This opportunity will afford the successful applicant a unique regional experience while still being close to the city. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.

Qualification Requirements

You must have a Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant human services area to be eligible for this position. All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency.
