Down Syndrome WA is seeking an experienced project coordinator to lead and deliver the new Life Skills Lab - Empowering Independent Lives project. This is a two year project, commencing in 2025 and completing at the end of 2026.

This is an exciting role, working with DSWA’s adult and older adult members and families. This is a 4 day per week role, offered on a 2 year fixed term contract.

Key Outcomes of the Role:

• Design, Create and Deliver the Lifeskills Lab - Empowering Independent Lives project
• Manage and meet all budget requirements
• Support and Develop people with Down syndrome throughout the project
• Provide an opportunity for lived experience to be a strong part of the project delivery
• High level of stakeholder engagement
• Develop and deliver materials and resources that can be used in the future
• Deliver a range of workshops over the two years
• Have a high level of engagement with the community through ENews, Socials and direct contact.
• Produce Stories and Case studies
• Keep and report on data and statistics of the program

The Project Coordinator will create, design and deliver workshops, programs and two one day workshops alongside members with Down syndrome.

You will be part of a passionate, dedicated and fun team supporting the needs of our adult members.
