VictimConnect offers support to individuals affected by violent crime in Queensland, delivering information, guidance, referrals, specialist counseling, and case management services.
As a Response & Connection Practitioner for VictimConnect, you will focus on providing high-quality support to Queenslanders who have been impacted by an interpersonal violent crime.
Although no two days are the same, you can expect to assist inbound callers by providing crisis counselling, information, risk assessment and referral pathways for additional support, such as specialised counselling from our highly skilled Specialist Counsellors.
The role works collaboratively with Queensland Police, Victims Assist Queensland, 54 Reason and other community services. It is important that our practitioners maintain and build positive working relationships with external stakeholders to facilitate smooth referral pathways for all clients accessing our service.
VictimConnect primarily engages and supports all people impacted by violent crime, regardless of whether the incident occurred recently or historically.
This service line is open 24/7/365.
For more information about the role, reach out to Nat on 0402 573 252 or [email protected], using the subject line: Response & Connection Practitioners enquiry via EthicalJobs.
Please note that while our standard practice is to communicate with all candidates about the status or outcome of their applications, we are currently only able to reach out to those who have been shortlisted. Thank you for your understanding.
