Who we're looking for

We're looking for a Clinical Lead, degree qualified in a mental health discipline, experienced in providing best practice clinical services to youth and enjoys coordinating multidisciplinary teams, in a person-centred approach. In joining our headspace team in Port Macquarie, you will bring your experience working in a community/health environment combined with an advanced knowledge of Youth Mental Health to provide quality and effective clinical supervision, oversee clinical practices and contribute to organisational clinical governance developments. You will be a highly effective multitasker with exceptional communication and listening skills as well as proven capabilities in negotiating, developing, and managing cooperative relationships to ensure the youth in our communities receive the best care available.

What you'll be doing

Your busy days with be spent facilitating the provision of high-quality mental health services for young people aged 12-25 years, while managing your own clinical caseload.

Utilising your clinical supervision skills suitable for providing support, guidance and overseeing clinical practices by clinicians, you'll be providing support and assurance that clinical practice is provided in accordance with funding and EACH requirements. You will be particular in your documentation of clinical supervision (individual or group) and responses to risk, adhering to EACH's Clinical Governance framework.

Who you'll be working with

Your role will report to the headspace Manager, while working in conjunction with other key staff within the Consortium and EACH to provide collaborative and integrated care. There is also the unique opportunity to be part of the wider headspace National and EACH network nationwide to review best practices, learnings and knowledge sharing related to the program.
