You'll be working with a dedicated team of professionals within the Substance Use Recovery (SURe) program, passionate about helping people within the community to take further steps towards their recovery.
Based in Ringwood, you will work with the Substance Use Recovery Southern Melbourne (SURe) program to:
Provide accessible, high quality, therapeutic AOD counselling and associated health services to the target group; Reduce AOD related harm to individuals and their families to promote recovery; Identify a range of co-occurring mental health, social and primary health issues associated with substance use, and to provide integrated and collaborative counselling and support to address these; Deliver a welcoming, hopeful, strength-based, family-inclusive, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, culturally appropriate, dual diagnosis capable service. Utilising MARAM and trauma informed frameworks support individuals that are experiencing, and using family violence.
