Join Us as a Part-time (3-4 days a week) Financial Counsellor at EACH!
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of financially disadvantaged and vulnerable Victorians? Do you have the skills and compassion to help individuals overcome financial hardship and regain control of their lives? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team at EACH as a Financial Counsellor!
As a Financial Counsellor, you will provide free, confidential, and independent financial counselling services to empower clients to take charge of their financial futures. You will assist them in setting financial goals, advocate on their behalf, provide essential information and options and collaborate with legal and financial institutions to reduce financial difficulties. You will be able to identify systemic issues and advocate for change and work closely with allied services to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to client wellbeing.
This role includes delivery of specialist family violence financial counselling services to people experiencing family violence and is delivered through an integrated service model with the Financial Counselling Program.
Your work will be funded by the Department of Justice and Community Safety and Consumer Affairs Victoria and is funded until 30 June 2025, with a high likelihood of extension.
