About the role

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental illness and complex needs?

As an Occupational Therapist – Grade 2 at EACH, you will be a vital part of our outreach services within the local government areas of Casey, Cardinia and Dandenong. Your role will involve delivering evidence-based mental health OT services to adolescents and adults through home and community visits. You’ll work collaboratively to set goals, provide therapeutic support, and ensure effective communication with external providers and internal team members. Your efforts will help clients navigate their challenges and enhance their everyday living experiences.

Key Deliverables

• Deliver high-quality mental health OT services to adolescents and adults.
• Provide support under the NDIS and fee-for-service models while meeting productivity targets.
• Develop and implement therapeutic strategies to enhance client capacity.
• Make appropriate referrals and collaborate with team members and external organisations.
• Engage in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with professional standards.

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic, skilled Occupational Therapist with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
• An understanding of mental health interventions for complex cases.
• Experience in functional assessments, sensory interventions, and community mental health settings.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
