EACH is a NDIS Partner in the Community delivering the Early Childhood Approach (ECA) Services in New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory. The Early Childhood Approach helps families with children aged 0 - 9 with assistance, advice and access to the supports in your local community.

Job Description

  • Max term until June 2025
  • South-West Sydney (flexible working options including hybrid working arrangements) on the lands of the Cabrogal People
  • Competitive salary based on quals and experience + 11% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550

As a crucial part of the leadership team, the ECA Practice Team Lead is responsible for leading a group of motivated Early Years Specialists comprised of allied health professionals, social workers, and inclusive education specialists assisting families gain access to the NDIS and providing early intervention services.

Duties include:

  • Design and oversee evidence-based early intervention support offerings, including parent education workshops, playgroups, and capacity-building programs to support children to achieve their goals.
  • Support, mentor and provide supervision to Early Years Specialists, enabling them to deliver outcomes-based early intervention supports.
  • Maintain a small caseload of children and families delivering early intervention supports and where necessary supporting the family to access the NDIS.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced paediatric Allied Health professional or Educator to join our Liverpool NDIS Early Childhood Approach team as a Practice Team Lead.

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Degree qualified in Allied Health, Education or Social Sciences.
  • Extensive experience in delivering Early Intervention programs to children and their families.
  • Previous experience in leading a team within a transdisciplinary, key worker model as well as expertise in managing change and building team resilience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Childhood approach, Early Childhood best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
