Are you a dynamic project manager with a passion for driving data-driven change? This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead a transformative data standardisation and capability-building initiative across 24 Community Health First agencies in Victoria.

You’ll play a pivotal role in establishing consistency in data formats, improving data collection processes, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Your leadership will enable agencies to collaborate, share insights, and enhance their data capabilities, ultimately improving community health outcomes.

  • Full-time with flexibility – 2 year contract
  • Victorian based role, travel required
  • $160K Including Super + Salary Packaging of up to $18,550

Job Description

As the Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of a Minimum Data Set (MDS) across multiple agencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end project management to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Developing and enforcing data standardisation protocols and reporting guidelines.
  • Enhancing data literacy and capabilities across organisations.
  • Establishing two Communities of Practice (CoPs) focused on data capability and research/evaluation, encouraging knowledge-sharing and cross-agency collaboration.
  • Providing ongoing support for evaluation frameworks and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment, managing risks, and ensuring the success of the initiative.

About You

You are a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Your expertise in data standardisation, evaluation frameworks, and governance allows you to drive collaboration and alignment across multiple organisations. You possess the strategic vision to manage large-scale initiatives, along with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Your leadership and communication skills will enable you to represent EACH effectively, fostering strong relationships and guiding agencies toward a unified, data-driven approach. We are looking for a candidate who brings:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience, including managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects—ideally within the public or data-intensive sectors. Experience with data standardisation and evaluation methodologies is essential, as is familiarity with the healthcare or community health sector.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead and influence diverse teams. Technical proficiency in data systems, governance, and reporting tools is crucial.
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
