About the role

We are looking for an experienced paediatric physiotherapist who is passionate about working with children and families, and keen to work within a both paediatric physiotherapy and community healthcare team.

Community Health paediatric physiotherapy predominantly receives referrals for children 12 years and under, for wide ranging conditions across neurodevelopmental and musculoskeletal areas. These concerns may include developmental delay, differences in muscle tone, infant head shape, gait, and typical postural variations. Children receive a full assessment and a strong knowledge of normal development is essential. Sound clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based treatment recommendations are required. The Physiotherapist will work closely with the paediatric allied health team including speech pathology, occupational therapy and dietitian as well as with family support services, and liaise with Maternal and Child Health and other service providers. Eastern Health has a new and developing paediatric physiotherapy clinical service across the organisation and now is a great time to join our team with experienced senior clinicians.

About you

In your Community Health role, you will be working across our Maroondah Hospital, Healesville, and Yarra Junction sites; however there are temporary changes to working arrangements due to COVID-19 and Telehealth consultations are available for some families.
