The Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria Inc. (ECCV) represents the voices of multicultural Victoria. An opportunity exists for a highly motivated Metal Health & Wellbeing Project Officer to work in the Projects team aligning with Recommendation 34 of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System report and aims to lead the engagement of diverse communities to inform planning and implementation of mental health reform activities in Victoria.
A key component of the project is to build the capacity of community and mental health service providers, and health/non-health organisations, to effectively respond to the mental health support needs of multicultural and diverse communities within a culturally safe, responsive, and inclusive approach.
The position is 0.6 FTE and remunerated at Level 4 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (pay point dependent on experience).
Tertiary qualification in health sciences, social sciences, social work, community development or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
