Due to recent internal movement a fantastic leadership opportunity has opened up in our headspace team Echuca. Located only 2.5 hours from Melbourne Echuca is a fast-growing region offering all the urban conveniences of a city in a beautiful rural location.

Applications are sought from experienced and innovative professionals who are ready to lead and inspire the clinical team at headspace Echuca, a department of Echuca Regional Health.

You will be supported by the vast network of clinical expertise at headspace National in addition to the 150+ headspace centres that operate nationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring effective, evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of young people and their families.
  • Provide clinical leadership and secondary consultation
  • Collaborate with key community agencies to ensure appropriate pathways of care
  • Drive service enhancements and quality improvement

Our team requires someone who has:

  • Qualifications in a mental health discipline with minimum 5 years post-qualifying clinical experience
  • Proven experience as an inspirational, progressive and effective leader
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the key factors of First Nations social and emotional wellbeing and have a strong commitment to family inclusive practice.
  • Strong leadership skills in delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented and evidence-based care that complies with professional and healthcare standards.

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and provision of a Working With Children Check prior to appointment. In addition, this position requires evidence of vaccination status for COVID-19.
