headspace Echuca has two exciting opportunities for suitably qualified Allied Health Professional’s to expand their career working within the headspace Team, a Department at Echuca Regional Health.

  • Role 1: Mental Health Clinician - Full Time
  • Role 2: Intake and Brief Intervention Coordinator - Full Time

headspace is seeking a Mental Health Clinician and a Brief Intervention Coordinator that will both play equally significant roles in supporting young people holistically to achieve their goals.

You will be supported by the vast network of clinical expertise at headspace National in addition to the 150+ Headspace Centres that Operate Nationally.

ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver intervention services to young people seeking mental health support
  • Work collaboratively with team members, partner organisations and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients
  • Actively participate in regular departmental meetings, community engagement events and activities as required
  • Participation in quality and service improvement activities

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Tertiary Qualification is Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working in Youth Mental Health preferable
