The Environmental Defenders Office Ltd is the largest and most impactful environmental law centre in the Australia Pacific. EDO has offices in each state and territory and enables remote working. As such, this role can be based anywhere in Australia.
We are seeking a passionate, committed and experienced individual to manage the administration of our philanthropic programs during this critical decade for nature and climate.
The Philanthropy Supporter Specialist is part of EDO's Philanthropy team within Fundraising, Marketing and Communications {FMC). Through philanthropy we raise sustainable income to support the unlimited potential of EDO. We connect donors with the power of the law, and together we meet the most urgent challenges of our time by defending nature, climate and communities.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy and supporting the work of the two Senior Philanthropy Specialists and Philanthropy and Bequest Specialist, this role contributes to meeting EDO's income targets through providing timely and accurate operations support for the philanthropy team.
To achieve this, you will work closely with all philanthropy staff, FMC's data specialist, and the broader FMC team, managing the philanthropic administration relating to Trusts, Foundations and individual donors.
