Are you a dedicated and passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a desire to positively impact the lives of neurodiverse children and adolescents?

The Empowering Hive, a non-profit organisation and registered NDIS Provider, is currently seeking two Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join our skilled team.

Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday with client sessions scheduled to begin mid to late June. We have a full appointment schedule available throughout the week, and we are open to discussing multiple weekday options to accommodate your availability.

We are offering full time or part time opportunities, days and times negotiable for the right candidates. $80K - $120K (depending on experience) + options for NFP Salary Sacrifice up to $15,900.

About Us

We offer therapeutic services to neurodiverse individuals through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and also serve private, fee-for-service clients. Located in Alexandra Hills, our clinic provides a collaborative and supportive work environment where you can truly make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

About Your Role

When you join our team, you will:

  • Support our NDIS participants and private clients to achieve their goals using a strengths-based approach to therapy.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve functional capacity and independence.
  • Conduct assessments and write reports for NDIS participants and private fee-for-service clients.
  • Develop, monitor and adjust individualised treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other therapists and professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain confidentiality, keep accurate records and enter documentation to support the therapy of our clients.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Working with Children Check and Worker Screening (current or able to obtain).
  • Provider Number (current or able to obtain).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for empowering neurodiverse young people!
