About the role

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a Business Analyst to join our ICT team. The successful candidate will be working across a diverse range of interesting projects including both a business and technical focus.

The objective of this ICT Business Analyst role is to work in partnership with project stakeholders to elicit and define business requirements, analyse solution viability, and document project deliverables for a variety of projects and initiatives.

More specifically:

  • You will be required to collaborate using a variety of business analysis methods and techniques to research and analyse business opportunities and problems from different perspectives.
  • This will include facilitating workshops, conducting interviews, documenting As-Is and To-be processes using established methodologies.
  • Synthesising the findings into project artefacts for review and signoff by Stakeholders and Vendors.
  • Manage risks, issues and project change requests using established tools and frameworks.
  • You will be required to consult and support with Testing, Change Management and Training resources in business roll-out of solutions.
  • Act as a delivery consultant over the project lifecycle to support the successful delivery of the projects.
  • Provide mentoring to emerging Business Analysts and other project resources.

About you

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a commercial environment with predominantly business side focus.
  • Understanding of both predictive and adaptive change delivery methods and apply business analysis leadership in collaborating and determining the best approach to delivering each individual project.
  • You will bring experience in both Waterfall and Agile change delivery environments or hybrids of these and are able to lead or provide advice and applied support in techniques such as SCRUM and support Product Owners and SMEs in achieving desired outcomes.
  • Knowledge of project management and software development lifecycles and frameworks.
  • Desirably have experience with eliciting integration requirements and delivering solutions in collaboration with Stakeholders and assigned vendors.
  • Desirably, have formal Business Analysis Qualification such as CBAP, ECBA or be studying for certification in one of these. Alternatively, you understand the concepts, methods and tools outlined in the BABOK.
  • Experience with using various change delivery collaboration tools such as Microsoft DevOps, Teams including Planner and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated experience developing process models (both As-Is and To -Be) using techniques such as BPMN, Value Stream Mapping and tools that are used to generate these including Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience in delivering high quality artefacts including Business Analysis Approach, Customer Journey Mapping, Problem Statements, Options Analysis, Business Process maps, Requirements Specifications, Use Cases, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • You have been a contributor to teams that have delivered solutions from ideation to go-live including working with vendors to deliver these solutions.
  • Desirably, have Tertiary qualifications in relevant field including Business / Commerce / Finance or Information Technology.
  • Experience with CRM, HRM and ERP systems would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to present information and engage with stakeholders on highly sensitive topics.
  • Desirable: Demonstrated proficiency in contributing to or leading continuous improvement initiatives, showcasing a track record of optimising business processes and fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
