The Opportunity

This role is an exciting step for the successful candidate who will have the chance to complete a variety of engaging tasks as Euroa Health’s Accounts Officer. These duties include:

  • Generating invoices, credit notes, and account statements
  • Receipting and processing payments
  • Preparing month-end debtor accounts and reconciliations
  • Responding to stakeholder queries
  • Performing day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Verifying, investigating, and reporting any discrepancies
  • Managing purchase orders and trust account expenses

What you will need to be successful

  • Accounting qualification(s) from a registered tertiary institution; OR
  • Be actively working towards one; OR
  • Demonstrated experience in Assistant Accountant roles

The successful candidate will also possess sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and basic proficiencies towards accounting software. Finally, they will be an effective communicator with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
