EOI to serve on the Board of EV Strengthening Communities
Following the resignation of a long-standing Director with over 10 years Board experience we are seeking new Directors particularly with expertise in one of the following areas: finance, HR or social models of transport. We are seeking up to 3 new Directors.
EV Inc formerly Eastern Volunteers has been operating in the eastern metropolitan region of Melbourne for over 45 years. It is a multi service community organisation.
Over the past 5 years the organisation has diversified as an Early Years Manager and employment services organisation from its traditional base of aged care- community transport and volunteering services.
You will join an experienced and committed Board who bring governance and sector expertise to their role. Their profiles can be viewed at ev.org.au/about-us/our-board.
The Board commitment is 1.5-2 hours a month at Board Meetings as well as sub committee work from time to time. Anyone interested in the Treasurer role will also need to commit to monthly finance committee meetings of 1 hour.
The Board meet via a mix of online and in person meetings and you would need to be able to attend in person meetings at 1/36 New St Ringwood.
