The key role of the Program Support Officer is to provide administrative and project support for the Fams team and contribute to the implementation of the three core elements of Fams’ strategic plan: Strengthen our Sector, Keep our Sector Informed and Amplify our Sector’s voice.

Core responsibilities:

  • Management of Fams’ website and social media channels.
  • Create relevant content for the Weekly Newsletter.
  • Management of info@fams mailbox.
  • Office administration, including organising meetings, creating and updating internal project plans, and ensuring actions are followed up.
  • Assist with the coordinating of events, both face-to-face and online.
  • Collect and analyse data for projects and programs, including the coordination of our annual survey.

Essential qualifications and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in administration support within an office environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and oral).
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop collaborative working relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to maximise the use of social media platforms.
  • Confident in the management of websites.
  • Experience in analysing data and writing reports.
  • Computer literacy across the Microsoft suite.
  • Flexible, positive attitude; willingness to get involved in day to day big and small.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Familiarity with software programs – Monday.com, SupporterHub, Canva, Hootsuite, Clear Impact and SurveyMonkey.
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation.
