The COO is responsible for:

  • Creating, removing, or updating systems and processes to help CPRC achieve its strategic goals
  • Setting up and overseeing project management for CPRC activities
  • Helping to create a culture where experimentation is valued, and the team learns from both failure and success
  • Identifying, testing, and growing new income opportunities, working closely with the CEO and board as part of this work
  • Overseeing grants management and reporting
  • Compliance and governance, in partnership with the CEO

You have:

  • Experience overseeing operations within a small organisation or supporting a large organisation with operations functions
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new income opportunities
  • Knowledge of a variety of project management approaches with the ability to adapt theory into practice for a small organisation
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • A clear communications style
  • Strong organisational skills

Not essential, but an advantage:

  • Experience developing company culture to create collaborative and high-performing team
  • Experience working within a not-for-profit and/or working with not-for-profit boards

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • New role with opportunity to set up ways of working that you think will work best.
  • Organisation with strong potential for growth.
  • Supportive CEO looking to experiment and innovate.
