First Nations Response is currently seeking a Program Manager for overseeing two critical initiatives: the Data Governance and Enablement Project, and the Evaluation Strategy Project.

First Nations Response is a 100% First Nations-led charity committed to addressing food security issues. We provide culturally safe support and food relief services to mob in the Inner-West and Inner-City of Sydney.

Role overview

As the Program Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting up the foundations for our data and evaluation services. You’ll also play a pivotal role in ensuring that we can collect the essential data required to demonstrate the impact of food insecurity on our communities.

Location

This position is based in Marrickville and Redfern, with the option for hybrid work arrangements.

Coordinate the following FNR projects:

  • Data Governance and Enablement Project
  • Evaluation Strategy Project

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the projects.
  • To abide by the goals, philosophies, policies and procedures of the service.
  • Ensure reporting requirements relevant to the grants are met.

Provide supervision to workers from the above projects, including:

  • Assist in the development and implement structures for effective communication, team building and debriefing.
  • Assist in the facilitation of staff meetings as required.
  • Provide Support to the FNR CEO.
