This will be undertaken by the Team Leader taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations of centre and community based programs. Whilst driving positive social change and improving the lives of people in the community - then this is your opportunity!

This position will work under the direction of the Service Manager. This role requires innovative thought processes and requires the ability to be flexible, motivational with an enthusiasm to teach and role model for others. This position will see the ideas and commitment undertaken in the GOAL capturing process come to fruition through the work that is carried out by frontline staff and participants.

About you

You have the ability to mentor a team of Support Workers and empower them to deliver the programs. You are an incredible motivator and can instil confidence and a sense of belief to a person attempting a skill for the first time. You are able to plan but at the same time adapt and still deliver desired outcomes.

What you Bring

  • Certificate III or IV in Community Services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of disability sector funding and including NDIS.
  • Ability to engage, manage and lead a team which will vary daily, to deliver a variety of programs, to a diverse participant base
  • Demonstrated superior planning and organisational skills and the ability to adapt and at times work independently
  • High-level knowledge and understanding of the policy, procedures and standards pertaining to the provision of delivering programs for people with a disability
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships within the community
  • Commitment to social justice principles and access and equity
  • Programming experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in supporting Participants with varied support needs
