THE ROLE - ACCOUNT MANAGER

Due to demand and growth, this a rare opportunity to join a passionate and experienced fundraising team as their newest Account Manager. You will work closely with one of Australia’s most renowned Account Directors and collaborate with the wider team to achieve even more success for Synergy Fundraising’s charity clients.

You will build relationships internally and externally whilst providing new and existing clients with an incredible experience as you work together to develop concepts and strategies for their fundraising campaigns.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Use your analytical skills to make data-driven decisions for your clients
  • Manage external relationships with Designers, Copywriters and other suppliers
  • Assess and develop content (both written and digital)
  • Provide world-class customer service and guidance, you’ll pick up the phone and have challenging conversations if needed
  • Provide support to Account Directors enabling them to focus on larger projects and opportunities for the clients
  • Be a passionate advocate for professional fundraising and never stop learning

Your Skills & Attributes

  • You will be an experienced fundraiser or account manager with a solid understanding of Individual Giving, Regular Giving, Direct Marketing, Appeals or Digital Campaigns
  • You will be a confident with project and relationship management and be a confident communicator
  • You are self-driven, organised and autonomous; this is crucial with a remote first business model
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of people
  • You value and demonstrate honesty and transparency with your teammates and your clients
