THE POSITION

FLC is currently seeking an experienced Education Manager (Head of Department) who possesses strong leadership qualities and exceptional time management skills. This role will primarily focus on supporting the VET department by overseeing a diverse array of onsite, offsite, and auspice programs.

As the Education Manager, you will be entrusted with implementing VET, VETDSS, and Auspice programs across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include supporting Team Leaders in the delivery of courses, overseeing a team of educators, actively managing budgets in collaboration with the CFO, and handling government tenders. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the compliance team to ensure that all programs adhere to high standards of compliance.

FLC is looking for a motivated individual who is eager to contribute to the ongoing expansion of the VETDSS area. If you possess the necessary qualifications and are enthusiastic about taking on a pivotal role in education management, we encourage you to apply.

ABOUT YOU:

FLC is seeking an experienced Education Manager with a strong background in training and education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Training Industry
  • Extensive teaching experience
  • Proven skills in educational leadership and management, with significant experience as a teacher or coordinator in various program areas.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities, including proficiency in initiating and managing industry partnerships and strategic alliances, effective negotiation, and constructive issue resolution with staff, students, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and consistent leadership in fulfilling the responsibilities of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • TAE50111/TAE50116/TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or,
  • TAE50211/TAE50216 Diploma of Training, Design and Development
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40122 or approved predecessor/successor qualifications.
