FoundoBlue is an outreach counselling service providing a range of support services to the construction industry. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist to join our team.

About the Role

• Providing short-term and longer-term counselling to a diverse presentation from stakeholders of the organisation.
• Provide workplace critical incident response when requested.
• Participate in the treatment and management of both general and complex conditions.
• Demonstrate the ability to solve clinical and non-clinical issues in daily work.
• Deliver mental health and suicide prevention training to groups of people.
• Work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supported with ongoing professional development and training.
• Early morning mental health training when requested.
• Occasional travel to regional areas as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling, or Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in providing counselling services for 12 months or longer.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathetic and non-judgemental approach to counselling.
• Ability in maintaining strong boundaries, confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Show flexibility by working in different settings, including community and clinical environments.
• Engage in professional development activities and apply new knowledge to diverse clinical situations.
• Exhibit confidence in clinical reasoning skills across a wide range of cases.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders regarding client care.

About You

• Show a passion for continuous learning and growth in both clinical and non-clinical settings.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be capable of working independently as well as being a team player.
• Be confident in your role while remaining open to feedback.
• Hold current PACFA, ACA, AHPRA or relevant industry body registration.
• Have a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
• Current First Aid (or willing to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
