In 2025 4ZZZ Radio is celebrating 50 years of broadcasting with a four-month long celebration of the station.
As Queensland’s longest running FM station we are going to recognise the incredible work the station has done in amplifying the voices of our local communities as well as looking at the role community radio plays in todays
world.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing the organisation and execution of various events, ensuring seamless communication between event leaders, station staff, volunteers, media, and the public.
While not directly involved in the planning of every event, you will be the linchpin that keeps the channels of communication open, contributing to the success of our milestone celebrations.
There will be a range of different events held across this period and the project officer will both work with external partners and 4ZZZ to ensure all of these events run smoothly.
The position would increase in workload throughout the progress of the 2 year contract, a breakdown can be read in the Position Description.
4ZZZ is Queensland’s longest running FM radio station. As a not-for-profit community broadcaster, we have been reliably pumping out alternative music, news and culture since we began at the University of Queensland in 1975.
A position description is attached.
