About the role

The responsibility of the Marketing Manager is to develop and implement marketing plans and activations to maximise the uptake of the Family Planning Australia services and courses; while promoting the vital work we do in the area of reproductive and sexual health.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, commerce or business.
  • More than 4 years' experience in a consumer mass marketing environment.
  • Experience in the development and implementation of marketing plans.
  • Experience in the maintenance and utilisation of Customer Relationship Management software for marketing, campaigns and for other organisational initiatives.
  • Ability to track, monitor, evaluate and report on campaign results.
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Creativity and willingness to implement improvements to current systems and processes.
  • Ability to work concurrently on a number of different projects and to coordinate projects within timeframe and budget constraints.
  • Evidence of relationship building skills and strong customer service skills.
  • An understanding of the charity/health sector.
  • Requires occasional work outside of regular hours and potentially domestic travel
  • Must have Australian working rights

Desirable:

  • Relevant experience in the Not-for-Profit sector
  • Graphic design experience
  • SEO and SEM experience
  • Website Creation and Management

Other requirements:

  • A Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check are required prior to commencement in this role
