About us

Sexual Health Victoria (SHV) is a leading, not for profit, state-wide provider of sexual & reproductive health care, education & advocacy. Governed by a voluntary board of directors, we have been providing comprehensive reproductive and sexual health services in Victoria for over 50 years.

We deliver a range of services which are accessible, culturally relevant & responsive to the needs of the diverse Victorian community. These services include clinical care as well as education & training to help build the capacity of educators & health care professionals working in the reproductive and sexual health sector.

About the role

The Customer Service Officer - Clinical Education provides high level end-to-end administrative support to the Clinical Education team to ensure efficient delivery of SHV’s courses and educational activities. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Accountabilities

Include, but not limited to:

  • Respond to all client enquiries/requests promptly and efficiently 
  • Provide professional and courteous service in all contact with clients, external service providers and internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively anticipate client's needs and provide accurate responses or solutions in resolving a query or request. 
  • Identify and manage sensitive and challenging client interactions diligently and effectively to ensure a positive outcome
  • Make, facilitate, maintain, and monitor bookings for SHV services, ensuring efficient use of SHV resources.

About you

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

  • Background and knowledge of administration in an education setting preferred, with experience in managing bookings and student/learning management systems
  • Strong understanding of services offered in a reproductive and sexual health clinic highly desirable
  • Highly developed time management, priority setting and organisational skills
  • Strong client and interpersonal skills to maintain a trusted and welcoming environment
  • Excellent MS Office program experience and skills
  • Self-motivated and an ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a dynamic and flexible team
  • Exceptional client service skills.

The incumbent will be required to undertake & complete a satisfactory National Police Check & Working with Children Check.
