What You’ll Be Doing
- Draft legal documents: consent orders, parenting plans, court filings, and more.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Manage disclosure documents and assist with valuations.
- Prepare for court proceedings and provide hands-on support during hearings.
- Collaborate with your "mini-team" to achieve goals and streamline processes.
About You
You are a motivated law student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in family law. You have:
- At least 12 months experience in a family law firm.
- A strong work ethic, empathy, and passion for helping people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Drive to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Process-driven.

What Success Looks Like
At 1 Month
- Understand our processes, philosophy, and clients’ challenges.
- Draft basic letters and court documents.
- Begin interacting with clients confidently.
At 3 Months
- Communicate with empathy and confidence.
- Proactively manage clients and files with support.
- Draft more complex documents with ease.
At 6 Months
- Manage high-volume cases from start to finish.
- Critically analyse disclosure documents.
- Meet clients independently and contribute to process improvements.
