Family Support Network Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Services Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer and negotiator, adept at managing a cohesive team and resolving issues through evidence-based processes.

They will actively engage staff in FSN’s culture, clarify roles, and foster organisational improvement through effective collaboration. Strong emotional intelligence will be crucial, enabling them to self-manage and build professional relationships.

The candidate must also adapt to evolving child and family service issues, lead quality improvement and risk management efforts, handle ambiguity, and communicate program changes effectively to stakeholders.

Our organisation prioritises the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people above all else and our practice is guided by trauma informed care and person-centred approaches. The Services Manager will actively oversee the delivery and coordination of our programs and foster a safe, creative, and innovative environment.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Social Welfare
  • Demonstrated relevant experience including management experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and wellbeing
  • Thorough understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred practice
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with Client Management Program's and Microsoft 365
