We're seeking a dynamic Supporter Engagement Advisor to join our team and help strengthen relationships with our valued supporters through volunteer recruitment, communications, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Management:
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
- Screen, onboard, and coordinate volunteer placements
- Create and maintain volunteer recognition programs
Communications:
- Facilitate engaging content for quarterly newsletters
- Manage social media channels and create compelling content
- Develop and maintain communication calendars
- Track engagement metrics and optimise content strategy
Donor Care:
- Provide excellent supporter care and timely responses to inquiries
- Process donations and maintain accurate donor records
- Implement donor stewardship and recognition initiatives
- Support donor retention strategies
Event Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of events alongside existing team
- Coordinate logistics, including venue, catering, and materials
- Manage event communications and registrations
- Assist with post-event evaluation and reporting
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in volunteer management or community engagement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media management and digital communications
- Excellent organisational and event planning abilities
- Proficiency in donor/volunteer database management
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience with CRM systems and social media management tools
- Demonstrated success in volunteer recruitment and retention
