About Future Group

Future Group is not your traditional financial services company – we're a collective of super funds and services committed to changing our planet now for a better tomorrow. When you join us, you’ll become part of a team united by a clear and important mission: to lead the investment movement by advocating and campaigning for a future worth retiring into.

We’re seeking a People Operations Lead who’s ready to help shape the backbone of our People Team (PT) function, ensuring smooth, efficient PT operations that empower our team to thrive. In this role, you’ll be at the helm of crucial PT services like reward and benefits, compliance, HRIS management, and onboarding/offboarding processes. Your contributions will help us continue our mission by providing compliant and effective PT processes that align with our broader business goals.

Your north star: Drive efficient PT operations and contribute to an environment where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to make a difference.

And the best part, you’ll be joining an amazing team. Our crew thrives on collaboration, innovation, and purpose. Expect to work alongside passionate colleagues who are united in their drive to lead positive change. At Future Group, diversity, creativity, and excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

We strongly encourage applications from people of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and identities. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcome and supported. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, reach out to our talent team at [email protected] – we’ll happily accommodate your needs to ensure an equitable experience for all.

Future Group values lived experience and we encourage applications from people with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, who have caring responsibilities, from culturally and racially marginalised groups, people with disability, people who experience ageism, LGBTQIA+ people, and people who experience social exclusion because of their social class.

If you require any adjustments throughout the recruitment process, please reach out to our talent team at [email protected]. We want to ensure our recruitment process is equitable for all, and we’ll happily make any reasonable adjustments where required.

You’ll love this job if:

  • You believe in the power of PT to create meaningful change and support people to bring their best selves to work.
  • You enjoy leading PT operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where change is constant.
  • You thrive in a role where you can streamline processes, track progress through metrics, and create a positive impact across the business.
  • You’re passionate about contributing to a purpose-led organisation and ensuring that every employee feels supported through well-structured and compliant HR services.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in PT operations, with strong knowledge of compliance, employee data management, and HRIS systems (e.g. CultureAmp, Ehero).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee the delivery of key PT functions like performance and remuneration cycles, audits, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • A proactive mindset when it comes to implementing best practices and improvements in PT processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to track PT metrics and reporting.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and working closely with legal, finance, and senior management teams.
  • An understanding of employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all PT matters.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working in a high-growth, purpose-led organisation or scale-up environment.
  • A passion for creating an inclusive workplace culture.

As the People Operations Lead, you will:

  • Lead daily operations within the PT function, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee PT systems and data integrity, ensuring accuracy in reporting and processes.
  • Lead the delivery of the annual performance and remuneration cycle.
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Implement and maintain PT policies and procedures, leading regular reviews and updates.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Don’t tick all the boxes?- that’s okay, we like thinking outside the box anyway. We value skills, passion and who you are over what you’ve done or where you’ve studied. So if this job strikes a chord, we want to hear from you!

Why would you enjoy working at Future Group?
