The Gallipoli Medical Research (GMR) is a world-class research facility located at the Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland. GMR supports and facilitates innovative research in human health and wellbeing. GMR is closely affiliated with the University of Queensland.

Clinical Trials Unit

Our clinical trials unit coordinates multi-centre international clinical trials primarily in the disease indications of oncology, respiratory and liver disease evaluating potential treatments that are in the various stages of development.

THE ROLE

The Clinical Trials Finance Officer will be responsible for assisting the Clinical Trials Unit Manager (Operations) in the administrative and financial aspects of the clinical trial activities.

Your Application

The ideal candidate will essentially have:

• Demonstrated experience in finance administration with 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (healthcare desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MYOB and Financial Databases.
• Accurate data management including data entry, data extraction (lists, reports etc.) within a database systems.
• Analytical capability and ability to apply practical thinking to financial data output, reporting and analysis
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage work, keeping to deadlines;
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; and
• Experience in, or understanding of, the clinical trial process (highly desirable)
