About the role:

In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.

At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1 / Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:

Line A (37 hours)

Week 1:

Thursday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Tuesday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)

Week 2:

Friday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Saturday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Sunday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Monday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Wednesday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours)

Line B (38 hours)

Week 1:

Thursday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Friday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Saturday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Sunday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Week 2:

Thursday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Monday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)

Line C (38 hours)

Week 1:

Friday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Saturday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Sunday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover

Week 2:

Sunday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Tuesday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Wednesday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Line D (37 hours)

Week 1:

Sunday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Wednesday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)

Week 2:

Thursday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Friday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Saturday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Sunday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Wednesday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)

Line E (42 hours)

Week 1:

Friday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Saturday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Monday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Tuesday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)

Week 2:

Thursday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)
Friday: 2pm – 10pm (8 hours) & sleepover
Saturday: 6am – 9am (3 hours)
Tuesday: 9am – 2pm (5 hours)

  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)

  • Valid Victorian Driver's License
  • Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
