The Gateways Support Services vision is to provide support for children and adults with a disability and their families to maximise their quality of life. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the friendly, supportive and positive team in Geelong.
We currently have a part time fixed term position (ends 13/11/2024) in Moolap available for 57.5 hours per fortnight. In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1 / Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Week 1
Saturday: 2:45pm - 8:45pm (6 hours)
Sunday: 4:45pm - 10pm (5.25 hours)
Monday: 6:30am - 9am (2.5 hours)
Tuesday: 7:30am - 9:45am and 2:45pm - 8:45pm (8.25 hours)
Week 2
Saturday: 8:45am - 3pm (6.25 hours)
Sunday: 7:45am - 3pm (7.25 hours)
Monday: 7:30am - 9:45am and 2:45pm - 7pm (6.5 hours)
Tuesday: 3pm - 10pm & sleepover (7 hours)
Wednesday: 6:30am - 9am and 2:45pm - 8:45pm (8.5 hours)
